OUR DNA

Our DNA is who we are as RecRoad Church people. This DNA shapes the personality and culture of the church and should be encountered as people interact with leaders, staff, volunteers and members of our church.

1) Passion

We have a passion to grow in the knowledge and love of God, to delight in Him as we serve His purposes in spreading the Gospel, planting churches and advancing His Kingdom on earth.

2) Radical Love

Having received the radical love of our King, we now love all people with a radical love that breaks through all the barriers of age, race, class, culture and gender.

3) Trust in God

We trust God explicitly in all things. Because God is loving and God is sovereign over all things, we live and serve knowing that we have nothing to fear in life or as we break new ground for his Kingdom advance.

4) Devoted

We value a personal relationship with Jesus above all else and so inspire all people to cultivate life-giving relationship with Jesus. A devoted life This includes worship, reading, believing and obeying the authoritative word of God, living holy lives, following the promptings of the Holy Spirit and growing in listening and petitionary prayer.

5) Multiply

As dedicated followers of Christ, we have been called to be those who multiply! We are those who pass on to others, that which we have received in Christ having ourselves learnt from others. To multiply disciples is our Lord’s mandate to every believer. More than this, as a church we believe God has called us to multiply by being a church that plants churches that will plant churches – thus fulfilling Jesus mandate to multiply.

6) Faithful and Relevant

We strive to be faithful to the Gospel while being relevant to the communities we are serving.
